我抄錄下面一段,一個傢伙過去26年擁有過52個車子,24個表沒有一個表少於1萬美刀,然後幡然夢醒。。。發現最好的表依然是日本表。。。
Take my advice, after owning 52 cars in 26 years, cars are a terrible waste of money. Things that go down in value or that you sell for less money than you paid for them are NOT an investment. I used to have a 24 watch collection with no watch under $10,000 and I got rid of all of them as well. That $250,000+ can be used for so many other better purposes. Ironically, my favorite watch is an old JDM titanium Seiko Chronograph. I lost it once on vacation and it took me almost a year to find another one in Japan. The watch only cost me $150. The 52 cars cost me over $2.5M over the last 20+ years and lost $1M in the process. I lost more than $100,000 owning my watches. Take my advice, buy a good Japanese or German car, preferably used so that someone else takes the big hit in depreciation. I have owned cars worth more than $250,000 and now I look for used cars 2-3 years old that are about $50,000. I agree with Mr. Anthony on buying a watch you like that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I try not to spend more than $500 for a nice watch, even a Swiss Watch like Tissot, rather than $10,000 watches like my Rolex watches.
