Art Rules Design Contest

- c8 x2 X4 v* U0 q* z5 B+ E$ E		A CALL TO ALL DESIGNERS: THE SWATCH TTR WORLD SNOWBOARD TOUR TROPHY DESIGN CONTEST 3 s! p7 [$ Y# O/ q$ k$ [* I  p+ z& tSwatch and the TTR World Snowboard Tour announce the launch of the second edition of the Art Rules Design Contest and offer anyone with a creative mind a chance to make a mark within design and snowboard communities around the globe. Any and all artists are invited to submit a graphic design to be applied to the 2011/2012 TTR World Tour Champion trophy. The trophy itself was sculpted by renowned "Coarse" designer Mark Landwehr, and is one of the most prestigious and respected awards a snowboard athlete can obtain in their careers. Designers can submit their artwork beginning today at www.artrules.swatch.com and the contest will run until April 15th, 2011.
Swatch President Arlette-Elsa Emch says: "Swatch is based on three main marketing pillars: Art, Fashion and Sports. With the ART RULES competition we brought Art and Sports together to launch a Design competition for the Swatch TTR Trophy and the official Swatch TTR watch. At heart, Art and Sports are both about feelings, and the moment when an athlete wins this trophy is a very emotional moment indeed. As such, it deserves a strong, iconic trophy—like the one we launched with the ART RULES competition in 2010." 5 N6 e8 E- B# {( \2 aThe winner will be presented at the Swatch Art Rules Night on the 27th of May 2011, in Stockholm, Sweden.
